Paperback & Hardcover Cover Design
A coordinated back, spine, and front cover prepared for the exact print format of your book.
Why this service matters
A beautiful front cover is not enough for print. Wrong spine width, trim size, paper settings, or a mismatched wrap template can cause production problems.
How we approach your project
We create the shared concept, then prepare the print PDF against the final formatted interior and the selected printer's official template.
What you receive
- Approved visual direction and front-cover asset
- Print-ready full-wrap PDF for each format included in your chosen package
- Back-cover and spine placement checks against the actual production specifications
Scope and important details
- Final page count, trim size, paper/interior type, and printer must be confirmed before final export
- Paperbacks and hardcovers need distinct templates; KDP hardcover is case laminate, not a dust jacket
- Content or page-count changes after finalization may require a separate adjustment
Common questions
Can we start before my page count is final?
Yes. Concept development may begin, but the print-ready wrap cannot be finalized until the formatted interior and specifications are locked.
Are paperback and hardcover covers the same size?
Not necessarily. Each format requires its own validated template and output file.
