Found violations in your metadata? Here's how to fix them quickly and maintain compliance:
Start with dungeon-level (☠️) violations—these are critical. Then address disallowed (red) issues, followed by risky (yellow) and improvement (blue) suggestions. Each issue shows the exact location and provides a fix suggestion.
As you type, our inline validation shows instant feedback with color-coded borders (green = valid, yellow = warning, red = error). Fix issues immediately as they appear, preventing violations before you even click "Check Compliance".
Fix the actual field issue rather than mechanically swapping words. For example, remove a sales-rank claim from title/keywords, remove promotional price language from a description, or verify authorization before using a trademarked term.
If flagged for repetition, remove duplicate keywords and vary your language. Instead of repeating "romance" 10 times, use synonyms like "love story", "relationship", "passionate". Natural language ranks better anyway.
After making changes, run the checker again to ensure you've addressed all issues. Aim for a compliance score of 90+ (green). A perfect 100 is ideal but not always necessary—focus on eliminating critical violations first.

Type or paste your book's title, subtitle, description, and all 7 keywords. Watch for real-time color-coded feedback as you type (green = valid, yellow = warning, red = error). Free users get 8 checks per day, plus 2 bonus checks by sharing.
The compliance score (0-100) appears at the top. Green (90-100) means excellent compliance. Yellow (70-89) needs attention. Red (below 70) requires immediate fixes. Dungeon violations override the score with a critical warning.
Violations are color-coded in your text: purple (dungeon), red (disallowed), yellow (risky), blue (improve). Click any highlighted term to see the specific rule violated and suggested fix.
Use the inline error messages to fix violations as you type. Each error shows exactly what's wrong and how to fix it, with clear suggestions for compliant alternatives.
Click "Download CSV Report" to save a detailed compliance analysis. This includes your score, all violations with explanations, the clean version, and recommendations. Perfect for record-keeping or sharing with editors.
🔒 Data Flow & Limitations
Inline deterministic checks can run locally, while the full AI-assisted compliance check sends the metadata you submit to BookBloom's server-side checking route and configured AI provider. BookBloom does not present an unverified accuracy percentage.
